Extra-Inning Win by Farmers Over Blimps
The Lancaster Farmers topped the Akron Blimps, 4-2, in M3L Double A action at Goodyear Hanger Dome. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lancaster pitcher William Robinson. Lancaster reliever William Robinson picked up the win, while William Kelly took the loss for Akron. Kamaliela Kaulo picked up the save, his 4th.

Lancaster used the timely hitting of Leonard Saunders to capture the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 13th inning to put the Farmers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Saunders. "And not try to do too much."

Their 31-34 record puts the Farmers 8th in the Menard's AA.
