Krewe fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
The Crescent City Krewe downed the Ithaca Fighting Imps, 5-4, at Field of the Krewe. The Krewe were led by Ronald Caldwell. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. With the win, Crescent City upped its record to 27-23.
The Krewe procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Adam Bisset. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring double.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Ithaca manager Gary Thomas.
