Nationals Reel Off Another Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Yakima Hops and Ottawa Nationals get after it.

Ottawa got a strong outing from Gregory Gilbert as the Nationals defeated the Yakima Hops, 7-0, at Nationals Park. Ben Poe picked up the save, his 1st.

The Nationals got an important contribution from designated hitter Jaicus Saracho, who in the bottom of the third hit a full count fastball into right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Nationals ahead, 3-0.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Ottawa manager Justin Broadfoot.

The winning streak has now reached 6 games for Ottawa.
