Yosuke Daisen helped his team muscle past the Lancaster Farmers, 6-4. In the game, the Akron designated hitter went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Getting the save was Bill Williams, his 12th.

In the top of the seventh, Akron center fielder Ed Reilly hit a run-scoring single to center field. The clutch hit made it, 5-4, Blimps.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Reilly told the Akron Chronicle.

The 6th-place Blimps are now 26-21, the Farmers 23-24.
