The Lancaster Farmers downed the Asheville Highlanders, 10-5, at Asheville Park. Alberto Sánchez led the way, going 4-for-5 for Lancaster. Ken John picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Ramón Vázquez was tagged with the loss. The 8th-place Farmers go to 22-23.

With Lancaster leading 2-1 in the top of the second, Leonard Saunders hit a run-scoring single off Asheville pitcher Ramón Vázquez. It put the Farmers ahead 3-1.

"We'll grab a cold beverage tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Saunders said.
