Crescent City second baseman León García contributed to his team's 7-2 win over the Asheville Highlanders. García, who is tied for 3rd in the 3AA in home runs with 8, went 3 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Krewe. Lewis Goodman picked up the save for Crescent City, his 1st of the year. The last-place Highlanders have dropped 7 straight games.

Crescent City used a well-timed hit by Adam Bisset to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Krewe ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Crescent City manager David Martínez.
