Fighting Imps Get Past Lake Minnetonka for 4-3 Win
The Ithaca Fighting Imps did just enough to secure a victory over the Lake Minnetonka Love Boats, 4-3, at Imps Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Tyler Budge. Ithaca reliever Francisco Esposo picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Stephen Hollingsworth took the loss. Xin-fang Zha picked up the save, his 7th.

In the bottom of the eighth, Boboy Enabore put Ithaca in front with a clutch hit. With two gone and runners on 1st and 2nd, he rapped a run-scoring single, making the score 4-3, Fighting Imps.

"We take it day by day here," said Budge, "and today was a good one for us."

The victory gives Ithaca a record of 14-7.
