Highlanders Drop 5-1 Decision to Farmers
|
Getting an impressive start from Vincent Hansen, Lancaster beat Asheville by the score of 5-1. Hansen picked up the win for Lancaster, going 7.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 1-1. The Highlanders fall to 6-9 and continue their unimpressive start to the 2047 season.
The Farmers got a big at-bat from right fielder Duncan Hutchinson, who in the bottom of the third hit a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Farmers on top, 5-0.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Asheville manager Jonah Moody.
