The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats extended their winning streak.

Lake Minnetonka rode a fine outing from starter Kevin Pearce to victory over the Ottawa Nationals at Nationals Park. The final score was 6-0. The Love Boats, now 11-4, have been sizzling early on.

The Love Boats got a big boost from shortstop Claude Decker who had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning off Nationals hurler Raúl Martínez. It was his 2nd RBI of the season and put Lake Minnetonka on top, 1-0.

"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Pearce after the game.
