Love Boats Need Extra Frames to Get Past Nationals
The Lake Minnetonka Love Boats had to overcome a good performance from Ottawa pitcher Yang-cheng Sang to claim a 3-2 win at Nationals Park. Sang went 5.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Love Boats, now 10-4, have been sizzling early on.

Lake Minnetonka used the timely hitting of Mike Shiplack to capture the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Love Boats on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Shiplack.
