The Akron Blimps beat the Casper Ghosts, 9-5, at Goodyear Hanger Dome. Yosuke Daisen, in particular, was impressive. He was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Ellis Huntley notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. The win gives the Blimps a record of 6-4.

Daisen had a timely hit for Akron in the bottom of the sixth. With Casper trailing 5-4, he turned a full count splitter into a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 7-5, Akron.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Daisen. "And not try to do too much."
