Knights Lose, 4-1, at Beyond the Wall
The Buffalo White Walkers topped the Kingston Township Knights, 4-1, in Menard's Third League action at Beyond the Wall. The game was highlighted by the performance of Buffalo pitcher Jim Jordan. Jack Buyse, credited with the win, is now 4-0. He allowed no runs on no hits. Buffalo raised its record to 73-33 with the win.

The White Walkers got a big at-bat from third baseman Tetsu Matsumoto. For the game, Matsumoto was 1-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave Buffalo a 2-1 lead.

"I still think this team can play even better," Matsumoto told the Buffalo Gazette.
