Thunder Bay's Crum Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Dusty Crum put on a hitting clinic today as the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC dumped the Buckhead Bowties 11-4 at 5 Paces Park.

The Thunder Bay catcher made Buckhead defenders earn their pay, lashing Buckhead pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Crum said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."

Dusty Crum doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

So far on the season Crum is hitting .250 with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has 59 hits and played in 68 games.
