Kingston Township right fielder Ánibal Lima had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Lima was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 2, even as Thunder Bay beat the Knights, 5-4. Casey Ball, credited with the save, is now 7 for 8 in save opportunities. The Northern Lions BC, at 38-46, sit in 8th place in the Third League.
Thunder Bay needed the clutch hitting of Steve Scott to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Northern Lions BC on top, 5-3. For the game, Scott had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray.
