Romero Shines in 8-1 Kingston Township Win
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC and Kingston Township Knights were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The exploits of first baseman Juan Romero helped the Kingston Township Knights defeat the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 8-1. Romero was 3-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Sam Martínez, the winning pitcher, improved to 8-4. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 7 hits and 1 run, while striking out 1 and walking 0.

With Kingston Township leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Romero hit a sinker from Josuke Okumura for a run-scoring triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Knights ahead, 2-0.
