New Orleans right fielder Francisco De La Cruz had a good game, even if his team did not. The Voodoo dropped a 4-3 decision to Cleveland at Factory of Sadness. De La Cruz hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. New Orleans, at 45-22, has lost 4 straight.
The Browns were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when pinch hitter Sariyah Fateen turned a 0-2 fastball from Russ T. Nayle into a 2-run double. The walk-off double electrified the Factory of Sadness denizens and sent the Browns home with a thrilling 4-3 win.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Fateen. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
