Fighting Imps Score Late to Upend Blue Sox, 6-4
The Ithaca Fighting Imps beat the Irving Blue Sox, 6-4, at Imps Park. Ithaca second baseman Luis Ávila had an outstanding performance. He was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. Ithaca reliever Paco Solano picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kwan-yew Khu was saddled with the loss. Xin-fang Zha recorded his 3rd save for Ithaca.

Ithaca took a 6-4 lead on Ramiro Rivera's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Rivera hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Irving pitcher Kwan-yew Khu visibly frustrated.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said Rivera.

The Fighting Imps raised their record to 4-4.
