The Sioux Falls Red Pandas did just enough to secure a victory over the Kansas Rainbeaus, 4-3, at Wichita Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Otto Mathews. Mathews got the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 6 hits and walked 3 over 8 innings. Mathews allowed 1 run. Sioux Falls has now won 3 in a row.

It could have been a different outcome for Sioux Falls, had it not been for Andrew Gray, the 24-year old first baseman . Gray contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put Sioux Falls up, 4-0.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Kansas skipper Rafael Herrera.
