Hollywood pitcher David Blake did his part in helping his team beat the Long Island Lighthouse, 5-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The losing skid has reached 9 games for Long Island.

Hollywood used a timely hit from Tetsu Matsumoto to get the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shredders ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.
