The Hialeah Dodos withstood an impressive performance by Sioux Falls center fielder Rich Dalzell to defeat the Red Pandas, 7-6, at The Bamboo Forest. Dalzell hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. With the win, the Dodos have a record of 39-53.

Hialeah relied on the bat of George McLean to get the win. The right fielder ripped a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Dodos ahead, 7-6. For the game, McLean had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
