The Port Huron Blitzkrieg picked up a win at Port Huron Park, knocking off the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 2-1. Starting pitcher Jesús Crisotomo played a key role in the triumph. James Spencer earned the save, his 7th. The win has Port Huron at 25-54.
Manuel Ortíz, the Port Huron catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 2-0, Blitzkrieg. For the game, Ortíz went 2-3 with 2 singles.
"It's a mindset," said Crisotomo. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
