Rainbeaus Topple Red Pandas, 9-4, as Childs Shines
Kansas left fielder Fraser Childs contributed to his team's 9-4 win over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Childs, the 17th overall pick in the 2037 draft, went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Rainbeaus. Kansas reliever Ray Russell picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Mariano Bueno absorbed the loss. Ben Hankins, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save.

The outcome might have been different had it not been for Childs. In the top of the eighth inning, when the Rainbeaus were trailing 4-3, Childs delivered a two-out 2-run single for Kansas, giving his team the lead.

"It was a solid team effort," said Childs after the game.

With the win, Kansas has a record of 39-39. Sioux Falls falls to 36-42.
