Northern Virginia took on Boston in front of a lively crowd.

The performance of Silvio Capitanio proved critical in helping Northern Virginia beat Boston, 8-2. The Rainbow Mermaids left fielder was 2 for 2 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Northern Virginia has now won 4 games in a row.

Ryder Ringor, the former first overall pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ringor contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Northern Virginia up, 4-0.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Capitanio.
