The Austin Black Mambas and Pawnee ParksNRec were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Pawnee used a superb performance from starting pitcher Marvello Manalo to down the Austin Black Mambas, 5-1. Manalo got the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 3 hits and walked 3 over 5 innings. Manalo allowed no runs.

The ParksNRec got a lift from third baseman Nathan Polkinghorne, who in the top of the third hit a run-scoring double. His 10th double of the season put the ParksNRec on top, 2-0.

"Enjoyed this one," Polkinghorne told the Pawnee Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The ParksNRec have an impressive 43-26 record.
