The home crowd had a good time watching the Austin Black Mambas and Sioux Falls Red Pandas get after it.
In a low-scoring tilt between the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and the Austin Black Mambas, Will Bass was the difference-maker. The Sioux Falls right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Sioux Falls reliever Ronald McDonald picked up the win, raising his record to 2-6. Duane Coleman was tagged with the loss.
Alonso Romo was the walk-off hero for Sioux Falls. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Pandas center fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"Both teams played hard," said Sioux Falls manager Robert Dickinson.
Austin's current losing streak is now 5 games.
