Lighthouse Lose By a Run at Nova Scotia, 4-3
Behind a fine performance from Benno Luby, the Nova Scotia Leviathan knocked off the Long Island Lighthouse, 4-3. Luby was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Leviathan. The save went to Carlos Rodríguez, number 13 for him. Long Island has now lost 6 in a row.

The Lighthouse had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Leviathan going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the fan favorite John Wilkerson came to the plate. Wilkerson hit a run-scoring double on a full count fastball from Long Island hurler Jacob Sinclair. It was Wilkerson's 15th double of the year.

"I was a little disappointed," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
