|
Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys starter Steve Gourin was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Hialeah Dodos, 3-0. The save went to Juan González, his 2nd this season. The win puts Syracuse at 32-24 this season.
Gourin, a native of Westland, Michigan, was dealing all game. He kept Hialeah hitters off-balance, while giving the Squirrel Monkeys 7 quality innings. Gourin threw 94 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 6.
