No one was more impactful than Mark Toope in the 8-6 Nova Scotia win over Long Island. Toope, who finished 2nd in the PL in runs with 83 last year, went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2. Will Sovaiala collected his 1st save. The Lighthouse have now dropped 5 straight.

John Wilkerson hit a 2-run home run off Greg Hodge in the bottom of the first, which put the Leviathan ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Wilkerson had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.
