ParksNRec Need Extra Frames to Get Past Black Mambas
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Pawnee ParksNRec and Austin Black Mambas.
The Pawnee ParksNRec did just enough to secure a victory over the Austin Black Mambas, 4-3, at Mamba Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jung-ho Yi. Pawnee reliever Mark Robinson was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Steve Denton.
Pawnee used the timely hitting of Tim Rawnsley to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the ParksNRec on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Yi.
Pawnee is now 31-21, while Austin is 28-24.
