The Austin Black Mambas beat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 7-2. Austin pitcher and Augusta, Georgia, native George Crane led the way. Austin now has a record of 27-22 with the win.

Austin needed the clutch hitting of Donald Martin to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Black Mambas on top, 5-1. For the game, Martin had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
