Black Mambas Earn 2-1 Win Versus Fighting Dachsunds
The Austin Black Mambas did just enough to sneak past the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 2-1, at Mamba Park. Austin pitcher Pat Pierce, in particular, had a standout performance. Austin raised its record to 26-21 with the win.

Ben Chell was the walk-off hero for Austin. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Black Mambas designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Hunter Curtis.
