Port Huron pitcher Laurent Schweitzer did his part in helping his team beat the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 7-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Tony Ruvenacht earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 6 hits in 4 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. Port Huron, with the win, climbs to 13-25.

Port Huron used a clutch hit from Nathan Bram to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Blitzkrieg ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a doozy.
