The Pawnee ParksNRec beat the Austin Black Mambas, 6-1. Pawnee pitcher and Depew, New York, native Ricky Mina led the way. The winning pitcher was Mina, now 5-1. He tossed 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 5 and fanning 3. Pawnee is now 24-11, 2 games up in the Silver AAA.

The Black Mambas had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the ParksNRec going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old shortstop Calvin Myrick came to the plate. Myrick hit a 2-run double on a first pitch fastball from Austin hurler George Crane. It was Myrick's 9th double of the year.

"I still think this team can play even better," Myrick told the Pawnee Daily News.
