McLean Goes Off, But Blitzkrieg Win
George McLean had a good game, but he could not keep the Hialeah Dodos from falling, 10-8, to the Port Huron Blitzkrieg at Port Huron Park. The Hialeah right fielder went 2-2 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice in the loss. The Blitzkrieg raised their record to 11-23.

In the bottom of the fifth, Port Huron center fielder Tom Connelly had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Connelly stroked a 2-run single to left-center. It made the score 8-6, Port Huron. For the game, he was 1-3 with 2 walks, while scoring 2 and driving in 2.
