Nova Scotia Leviathan starter Iwan Vroom pitched a strong game against the Vancouver Grey Wolves at Wolf Den in Vancouver, leading the Leviathan to victory, 4-3. Nova Scotia reliever Ángel López was the winner. His record is now 1-2. The losing pitcher was Terry Lesage. Carlos Rodríguez got credit for the save for Nova Scotia. It was his 12th of the year.
Nova Scotia took a 3-2 lead on Ángel Saelices's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Vancouver pitcher Terry Lesage in the top of the eighth.
Vroom called the win "a team effort."
Nova Scotia is in 4th place in the Premier League with a record of 26-27.
