The Norfolk Pajaritos picked up a win at Mamba Park, knocking off the Austin Black Mambas, 1-0. On the mound for Norfolk was right-hander Jorge Rodríguez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Gabriel García finished the game for Norfolk and earned his 1st save. Norfolk now has a record of 19-11 with the win.
In the top of the fifth, Cheh Che delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 2nd, the Norfolk center fielder hit a run-scoring single, putting the Pajaritos in front, 1-0.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Norfolk skipper José Rodríguez. "I can't complain."
