Dave Hall was instrumental in his team's 7-4 triumph over the Kansas Rainbeaus. The third baseman went 4-4 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Monongahela Monsters. Eugene Kelly picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-3. He struck out 4 in 5.1 innings. The 7th-place Monsters improved to 13-16.

Martín Flores dealt the Rainbeaus a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Monongahela leading 4-3, Flores, who leads the SAAA in bases on balls with 21, hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.

"I give credit to my teammates for this win. We got it done," Hall told the Monongahela Observer.
