Monsters Fall Short, 3-2, at Sioux Falls
Sioux Falls turned a good effort from starter Otto Mathews into a win over the Monongahela Monsters at The Bamboo Forest. The final score was 3-2. At 13-14, the Red Pandas claim 5th place in the Silver AAA.

Helping the Sioux Falls cause was Ángel Torrez. In the bottom of the fourth, the 24-year old left fielder had a run-scoring ground out to make the score 2-0, Red Pandas.

"Both teams played hard," said Sioux Falls manager Robert Dickinson.
