The Kansas Rainbeaus downed the Hialeah Dodos, 8-4, at Dodos Ballpark. Guan-xiu Long led the way, going 4-for-5 for Kansas. After today's action, Kansas sits at 11-11, while Hialeah falls to 8-14.
Kansas used the timely hitting of Erwan Michel to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Rainbeaus on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Michel.
