Dave Mills subdued the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 4-0, pitching a 5-hit gem for the Austin Black Mambas at Port Huron Park.
"He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Austin skipper Juan Cuestas said afterward.
Mills registered 2 strikeouts and issued 2 walks in his superb performance.
"We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Port Huron manager Harrison Blackford after the defeat.
