Left-hander Pat Pierce mesmerized the Port Huron Blitzkrieg while leading the Austin Black Mambas to a 3-0 victory. Austin goes to 10-10.
Alfonso Ramos, the 29-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Ramos contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning to put Austin up, 1-0.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Harrison Blackford.
