The Pawnee ParksNRec got a good effort from starter Stuart Chase in defeating the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at The Bamboo Forest. The final score was 3-1. Chase, now 1-1, was the winner. In the bottom of the ninth, Ángel Torrez stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Red Pandas were trailing 3-1, but had runners on 1st and 2nd. That's when José Hernández made a terrific pitch and Torrez struck out. Gone was the dream of a Sioux Falls comeback.
