The Kansas Rainbeaus eked out a 2-1 win versus the Pawnee ParksNRec at Whips Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Félix Torres. He was terrific. Torres, now 2-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Kansas goes to 6-6.

Eustacio Tafalla, the 38-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Tafalla contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Kansas up, 1-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Torres told the Kansas Daily News.
