The Pawnee ParksNRec racked up a win at Whips Ballpark, bumping off the Kansas Rainbeaus, 4-2. Bill Slaughter, who started for Pawnee, pitched effectively for his team. José Hernández collected his 4th save. Pawnee goes to 9-2 with the win.

The Rainbeaus had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the ParksNRec going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old center fielder Ren-qing Qin came to the plate. Qin hit a 2-run double on a first pitch forkball from Kansas hurler Noud Taaij. It was Qin's 2nd double of the year.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Qin said after the game.
