Behind a fine performance from Victor Jensen, the Hialeah Dodos knocked off the Austin Black Mambas, 5-3. Jensen was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Dodos. With the win, Hialeah elevates its record to 2-8.
Hialeah used the bat of George McLean to get the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Dodos ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McLean told the Hialeah Observer.
