Iyiegbuniwe Excels, But Rainbeaus Win
Joel Iyiegbuniwe had a good game, but he could not keep the Hialeah Dodos from falling, 12-11, to the Kansas Rainbeaus at Wichita Field. The Hialeah center fielder went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3 in the loss. Ben Hankins, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save. With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Jason Durkin had a game-changing hit. The Rainbeaus right fielder slammed a 2-run single off Dave Henderson, making the score 12-9, Kansas.

"It was one of those games where both teams were swinging the bat well," Durkin said.
