Behind the hitting of Vicente Gomillion, the Sacramento Redlegs stopped the Pennsauken Flyers, 9-3. Gomillion hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Redlegs. Richello Dosono earned the save for Sacramento, his 2nd. The 8th-place Redlegs go to 42-43.

Gomillion contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Sacramento in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Gomillion took a fastball from Ben van de Loo and stroked the home run to right-center. His 15th home run of the season allowed the Redlegs to leap in front, 4-2.

"I felt good up there," said Gomillion. "I saw the ball well."
