The Hartford Pride defeated the Alaskan Humpbacks, 4-2, in USPL Triple A action at Sea World. Hartford pitcher Yu-eh Wang had a standout performance. Francisco Díaz was credited with the save for Hartford, his 5th of the season. The 8th-place Pride lifted their record to 37-38.

Harry Cornelis took Ricardo Rodríguez deep in the top of the third. His 2-run home run put the Pride on top, 2-0. In all, Cornelis had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Hartford manager Howard Dale.
