Brit Parrish left his imprint on the 12-0 Alaskan win against the Hartford Pride. Parrish, the 32nd overall pick in the 2045 draft, was 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Alejandro Rosado picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-4. He struck out 7 in 6 innings. William Morán recorded his 7th save for Alaskan.
The Humpbacks got an important contribution from shortstop Xiao-gang Kong, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a sinker into left-center for a 2-run triple. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Humpbacks ahead, 3-0.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Alaskan manager Kelly Flint.
The win makes Alaskan 40-34.
