Blues Get One-Run Win at Tacoma
|
Barton Springs Blues starter Urs Bilderbeek was in fine form against the Tacoma Fur Traders at Ballpark of Tacoma, leading his team to a win, 4-3. After losing, Tacoma is 1-2.
Barton Springs used the timely hitting of David Taylor to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blues on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
After the game, Barton Springs manager Joe Kehoe applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
